Traditionally the Handira tells the story of a blessing passed from one generation to the next; a blanket made by a mother and given to her daughter upon her marriage. Our Handira are still made using the same traditional, hand-operated wooden looms and weaving techniques. Each Handira is one-of-a-kind, taking our artisans several months to complete.
